Whether you're penning a standalone work or building out a larger series, going through a developmental editing cycle can improve a manuscript's flow, continuity, and readability.Rates listed below are current as of March 2024.

| Developmental Editing | Development editing services will include the review of plot, characters, story pacing, world-building, and other stylistic choices. Following a review of your project, I will provide feedback via email regarding each of these areas, my thoughts on your strengths and weaknesses in those areas, and any other feedback I may have. Our founder, Morgan, has been providing editing services to independent authors and job seekers since 2015. In 2016, they added podcast transcription and editing services to their portfolio.Job at Place LLC was incorporated in 2021 as a creative media services company focusing on developmental and copy editing for manuscripts, as well as podcast transcriptions. As of November 2023, the transcription services are no longer offered, allowing Job at Place to focus on what we do best: helping self-published authors to tell their story the best way they can.
